It’s no longer shocking to see traitor Trump and his cabinet blatantly disregard the Constitution, effectively writing their own version of the laws to fulfill Project 2025. It’s a legal system at will, apparently – although not for you or I. What is a surprise, however, is the total lack of action or resistance on the left.
Well, other than Bernie Sanders and AOC.
We won’t talk about my current disappointment with Governor Gavin Newsom. I don’t know if I can handle the disappointment at the moment, and that may need its own blog post entirely.
“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.” – Thomas Paine
As of March 6, 2025, traitor Trump has reportedly violated more than 87 federal laws. The sheer number of cases filed against his administration is overwhelming, raising serious concerns about the potential harm that could occur while these cases remain unresolved. Meanwhile, the majority of our representatives continue to stand by without taking meaningful action.
Thomas Paine (quoted above) is not a super-famous founding father like Jefferson or Adams, yet anyone who calls themselves a “student of history” knows who he is. Every founding father was influenced by his writing. They used his Common Sense as one of the bedrock texts when forming our Declaration of Independence. He was highly influential and a friend of Benjamin Franklin, and even then he was writing about universal minimal incomes. (We’ll ignore the state of things at his death for now.)
Paine believed humans had essential basic rights, and that once granted those rights via the freedom of democracy you had to fight to keep them. They would not be kept easily. It’s one of those “absolute power corrupts absolutely” situations, and he was correct.

Challenging traitor Trump’s drift toward authoritarianism requires more than a small group of elected officials—it demands positive, collective action. Constant action at that. Trump knows this, which is why he tries to wear us down through the constant barrage of “shock and awe” that keeps us emotionally exhausted.
We must be the driving force urging our representatives and courts to hold him accountable and uphold the Constitution. Today, we have a responsibility to take action, making it clear that we will not stand by as the freedoms of the American people are eroded. Far too many depend on those with the privilege to speak out, and silence is not an option.
- Reach out to your elected representatives regularly!
- Attend public townhalls.
- Make your opinion known in polling – Rassmussen and Gallup are the primary polling companies.
- Speak up locally with flags, bumper stickers, and clothing that shows you are an ally to the marginalized.
- Vote with your wallet. Look at Shop How You Vote or Unite4Rights for a list of companies that are with the movement. (Word of warning – SHYV does not take into account DEI or recent swings, just voting and donations.)
Can We Make a Change?
Absolutely, we can. Over the past four weeks, traitor Trump has shifted his stance multiple times due to pressure from the courts, billionaire donors, and his inner circle. These individuals respond to the pressure we create. We just need to stay persistent and keep applying it.
